Victorian Rose Terms and Conditions 1 Period of hire
(a) The standard period of hire is 4 days. If items are required for a longer period an additional charge will be made.
(b) During the period of hire, all items remain our property.
2 Delivery and collection
We will deliver and collect. We will charge for delivery and collection at 50p per mile (based on the mileage specified by the iPhone map app). In addition, you must reimburse any parking charges and congestion charge that we incur when delivering or collecting your order.
3 Hire charge
(a) The minimum hire charge is £20.
(b) We require a 25% deposit in cash when you place your order. This deposit is non-returnable.
(c) The balance of the hire charges must be paid no later than 30 days prior to the date of hire. We reserve the right to cancel your order if you fail to comply with this term.
(d) We accept cash or cheque. (Please see the details on your order form).
(e) We reserve the right to amend our charges. The charges which apply to your order will not change after the date of your order.
4 Set up
By prior arrangement, we will set out the hired items and/or collect in and repack the hired items. Prices for this service are available on request.
5 Cancellation
(a) You may cancel your order in whole or in part at any time in writing, either by post to:

or by our contact form on www.victorianrose.biz
(b) Notice of cancellation will be effective on receipt by us.
(c) Cancellation charges will apply as follows:
Less than 30 days prior to the hire period 100% of hire charges
At least 30 days prior to the hire period 50% of the hire charge
6 Selection of items
(a) Items supplied will vary in make, colour and size.
(b) Where possible we will try to accommodate a request for particular items or colour schemes but there may be an added charge for this service.

7 Additions
Where possible we will try to accommodate a request for additional items. These terms will apply to any additional order.
8 Condition
(a) We will supply items in good vintage condition with no cracks or chips. Due to the age and nature of the items, some evidence of wear must be expected.
(b) In order to minimise breakages, we ask that items are returned to us unwashed.
(c) Items for collection should be emptied and wiped, wrapped in the JIFFY BAGS provided and packed carefully in the boxes supplied.
(d) We will wash all items when they are returned to us. This is included in the hire charge.
(e) No item should be put in a dishwasher or microwave oven.
9 Damage
(a) We require a damages deposit of £50, payable together with the balance of the hire charges.
(b) During the period of hire any damage or loss of the hired items (including packaging) is your responsibility.
d) After deducting these charges (if any), we will refund the balance of your damages deposit.
(e) If the total amount payable by you for lost or damaged items exceeds the damages deposit, you must pay the balance to us.
10 Responsibility
We are not liable for any injury or damage caused by any hired (item or the related packaging.)
